Here at Britannica we have long understood that while the internet opens up a whole new world of learning and discovery, it also has certain risks and dangers. That is why we are delighted to share with you our brand new e-Safety guide for schools, which we hope you find useful. Research from Britannica among 11-16 year olds reveals:

  • 19 per cent of students often feel unsafe when researching online.
  • 40 per cent say it is “very easy” to access inappropriate material online.
  • 19 per cent say their school has not taught them how to research safely online.

Read more in our 16-page guide. It’s been designed to help children learn how to use the internet safely – we hope you find it useful!
